Margarito can shift tickets pretty good, hes definitely an attraction.

Yea the gate for that fight was more Margarito, no doubt. Mexicans really support him, more so than Marquez.

Cotto's definitely a bigger PPV attraction.

And in terms of their common PPV opponent(Pac)...reason that was as close as it was is because Pac gained more popularity after fighting Cotto. The more you win on a big stage the bigger you become. If Tony fought Pac when Cotto did, I don't think it would've done 1.2 million buys. Pac was a bigger attraction when he fought Margarito than he was when he fought Cotto. He was still huge when he fought Cotto but it's just logical progression...
