The reason Berto fights too squared up and open

Could it be because his father and brother have an MMA background? I know Berto's dad taught Martial arts in Florida and he coached Berto in boxing since he was interested in boxing. Berto was used to fighting in a squared up stance by the time he started training with Tony Morgan. Usually kick boxers fight in that stance to be able to balance kicks. That stance will be his downfall.

Even Berto stands too square on, Ortiz will be too gun-shy to even try to land anything meaningful.

Berto's dad annoys the hell out of me for some reason.

He tends to get squared up when he's on the inside. This becomes a problem when a guy is fairly competent with his inside fighting such as Collazo. With all that said, Ortiz will not be able to handle the pressure from Berto. He will fade and fade fast.

Yes. Either way I think his style is the best one for him, he's just too chunky to be a slick fighter. That's why Collazo beat him up
