Kirkland has got another fight in a few weeks, hopefully opposition is a little tougher.
Tougher opposition could be dangerous right now, did you see Kirkland get wobbled. That's not the first time I seen Kirkland hurt, but a better opponent could stop him in his tracks. I'm not drinking the Kirkland koolaid just yet.

I'm talking about a guy who doesn't crumble when Kirkland puts on the pressure. I'm sure he punches hard, but he needs an opponent who is not the most skilled but can last a few rounds.

I see, these 1-2 round victories could hurt him in the long run, good observation.

He should fight again within 2 weeks because that fight took nothing out of him.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but he went down on the body shots, I wouldn't say he quit. Late reaction.

Naw. The body shots helped but the lefts on top of the head knocked that equalibrium off. He looked at his corner like "He got me. Dont be mad at me but I dont think I can stand up".

interesting, Kirkland was definitely hurt in the first round. his opponent should have jumped all over that.

I think his opponent also went down from body shots. his body language suggested they hurt bad when he got hit by them, and it might have been that him being under pressure with a hole in his gut was just too much.

he doesnt look as good as he did before, but thats what these fights are for after all...get rid of ring rust, get back in fighting shape and mindframe.

Why was he whacking with the right hand? He wasn't hooking with it.
