kirkland needs to step up

i realize kirkland is coming off a long layoff but he needs to fight some better fighters at this point in career. he's young and strong but tonight he fought a guy that was 15-9. and now there talking about matching him up with edouard, come on give me a break. he needs to be tested there is some decent competition at 154. at least he is staying busy. what do you guys think?

it's not that kirkland has to step up... it's whether or not martinez will duck kirkland to fight chavez jr.

He's fighting his way back into shape.

As long as hes not taking up a HBO slot or something I really don't care right now.

He should fight a more durable guy.
