Vitali is a bit better at avoiding rabbit punches (speaking of Peter,) which is why he should be the one fighting Haye.

Wladimir is still the more accomplished.
Vitali wouldve survived without Wlad, Wlad wouldve been out of boxing without Vitali.

Can you imagine if Wlad had to face Lennox after being Ko'd by Corrie Sanders? Vitali took that beating like a man so Wlad wouldnt have to.

Vitali took an enormous load off of Wlad's shoulders early on and protected him like a fragile infant, avenging his losses. Anyone with a pair of eyes can see who the stronger brother is...4 common opponents and Vitali posted the superior result in 3 out of the 4.

Dont forget Vitali took 4 years off (2004-2008) just to come back like nothing happened.

thats silly. If anything, Vitali hanging around so long has diminished Wladimir's dominance in the division since he has to share it with Vitali.

Lewis would have been in just as much trouble against Wladimir had they fought. Wladimir is faster and hits harder. If that was a Wladimir right hand that landed on Lewis in the 2nd round, I really have to wonder what would have happened.

I think Wladimir would have beaten his brother if they had fought.

Lennox and Wladimir are the same size.
The overhand rights that were missing Vitali by a hair, lands flush on a man one inch shorter. We know for a fact that Vitali can eat a punch better based on the Sanders fight. Where does Wlad go after this?
                Answer: Airbourne

Wladamir's style is easier on the eye but i think Vitali is a tougher oponent it's a shame they will never fight each other so we can find out.

I dont think Wladamir would have ever taken that uppercut from lennox..

what does Lewis and Wladimir being the same size have to do with anything?

Vitali's defense is pretty crappy against people with reach. all he does it lean back. Wladimir isnt a defensive wizard, but at least has more variety when it comes to defense. also Wladimir's jab would be limiting Lewis' offense.

I think prime Lewis would have KOed Wladimir, but Wladimir against that older version of Lewis was definitely a winnable fight. Lewis was pretty easy to hit that night, and Wladimir is a faster, harder hitting, and has a much better left hand than Vitali.

plain and simple: Wladimir has better wins than Vitali. that makes him the better fighter, although it doesnt mean hes better in fantasy fight matchups.

Ive seen complete amateurs like the guy in your avatar nail Wlad. Prime Vitali rarely got hit cleanly. Lennox wouldve taken Wlad out in the 3rd round max. Itd be a cross of Sanders/Wlad and Lennox/Golota: Massacre.

Wladimir has been down 11 times by journeymen and you have the gumption to say Vitali is the one with the bad defense? Thats just a bad take.
