U know when boxing is going to the dogs when the top 3 fighters don't need to fight.

Pacman,Floyd & Martinez have all recently been champion at 154.This is a fact period.Martinez is currently campaigning 1 division above while Floyd & Pacman,(who won't fight each other) are 1 division below.Meet up at 154,throw Cotto in the mix & find out who's the best fighter on the planet period.Martinez is ready,I know Cotto would if the public demands it.But Floyd,he don't fight no one dangerous & Martinez doesn't fit the criteria for Pacman, winning streak, looked fantastic in recent bouts, that **** is a crying shame.

But if Cotto beats Margarito & Pacman rematches him at 154,what then??If Floyd comes back after Pacman signs for Cotto at 154 what then??When Cotto signs to fight who ever what then??When Martinez continues to smash top opposition, will he get his due??The state of boxing sucks & boxing fans seems to love the **** sandwich, why??

I personally think Floyd would fight Martinez assuming he comes out of retirement, it'd have to be soon as I don't think Martinez will struggle to make 154lb if he starts growing into the middleweight division.

That being said beating Martinez does more for Cotto, Pacquiao and Mayweather than it would for Martinez himself. I wouldn't exactly give him high praise for winning the fight unless it is apparent that size wasn't a factor in the fight and that he beat them by putting on a clinic.

      also fact:

      - pac and wifebeater never defended their belts
      - wifebeater was forced to fight dlh at 154 lbs
      - pac's 154 lbs title is a farce

      1) you can't duck someone that's not in your weight division
      2) martinez needs to stop picking on WWs
      3) martinez needs to stop ducking kirkland and pirog

Pacman and Floyd never campaigned at 154. Floyd had no choice, but to fight at 154. Margarito couldn't make 147 and also WBC title encouraged Pacquiao team to make fight at 150 lbs.

Yeah, well at least Floyd's title there wasn't a joke ehh??What's defending the title have to do with anything??Becoming a champion at 154 means that they were on the championship level there.

Never said a word about ducking, but if Floyd or Pacman end up fighting at 154 again,(which they will)against a fighter not named Martinez, what do U call it??So Martinez picks on welterweights eyy??Please name me the welterweight that he's fought,I'll wait.

Thanks for all ur useless info bro,so U are saying that Pacman would indeed have fought at 154 huh??I really don't care what weight Margarito couldn't make.Him fighting the best fighter in boxing was a disgrace at any weight it happened. But nahhh,I don't really buy what U claimed, catchweights are a team Pacman fundamental part of negotiations, peace.

right and it was historical for pac. he let everyone know from the start he was going right back down to 147.

but I guess TS thinks Roy Jones was a b!tch for not fighing Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko's after his fight with Ruiz

martinez really needs to stop ducking a guy that is 34 seconds into his professional comeback after two years in prison?

and martinez also needs to stop ducking a guy who doesnt even have 20 fights and only has one name most can recognise on his resume?

pirog and kirkland are clearly very good fighters
                  i like pirog's boxing sensibilities
                  and kirkland i just like

but they arent worth of a title shot at MW yet

if you have to bring up floyd's and pac's (especially pac) 154 title, you have to recognize its legitimacy first. i'm a pacfan and i don't even consider that 154 title as legit for him. if i remember right, you're one of them foo's who vigorously protested the pac-marg fight for the 154 title. and when pac won it, you dismissed it as a hoax.
now you're using it to validate a martinez-pac matchup and using it as an excuse to disregard martinez's very obvious size advantage. what a shame
