DeGale vs Groves HOW DO YOU LIKE IT !

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. THIS is what British boxing needs right now.

I’m scratching my head trying to remember the last time such hype surrounded a domestic fight where both fighters have had so little professional experience. We’re not talking about two ex world champs here, these kids are just that, kids. Great prospects climbing the ladder to the stars.

I am delighted this fight is signed, and am every bit as excited about watching it as I am over seeing David and Wlad slug it out in the summer.

A real injection of life into our sport, and boxing will benefit tremendously because of it.

Result? Well, right now you have to favour DeGale, but honestly I don’t care, I’m just excited to see it unfold and happen.

    Bring. It. On.

I hope, and feel, Groves takes it.

If he can keep a lid on his emotions then i agree he has a fantastic chance, but he MUST keep calm and box.

Up until watching ringside last night I was going for DeGale to totally outclass Groves (based on there progress in the Pros to date) but something about Groves makes me think he's really confident and believes strongly that he has DeGales number. DeGale trying to get Groves to come out firing (which he does anyway) suggests DeGale fears Groves boxing him which seems silly but the victory for Groves in the amatuers may still be on the mind. Groves did make some very valid points about rave reviews that DeGale rec'd after the Smith performance which may not polished as it seems. We've yet to see DeGale take a decent shot really so this ones in the melting pot.

My head says DeGale but mu heart would be happy for Groves to win it (although I can't stand Booth)

Groves' defence is leaky as ****

Chunky won't be able to miss

            DeGale Late stoppage or UD

This was my head says....... I hate Chunkys attitude but when he's backing up I can excuse it, but he came across like a pr*ck on ringside so I'm not going to 'support' either just sit on the fence and enjoy.

I do think DeGale is the future world champof the two (potentially).
