From there, he needs to fight smart and pick his spots, and try and avoid that jab. If he can disrupt Wlad's rythym, I think he will have a chance.
I agree totally, Haye being too patient early and looking for the counters while feinting and not throwing will have him eating jabs all night until he is softened up enough for Wlad to feel comfortable to throw right hands and his underrated left hook.

i honestly see haye pulling the same ***** ass **** he did when he showed his true colors against valuev. if VALUEV can keep him away from his chin for most of the fight with his slow, awkward, and pawing jab. then you know wladimir can **** him up. ruiz dotted haye's face up from his jabs connecting. Haye will break his own record in the valuev fight for least amount of punches thrown in HW title fight, and run for his life. he will retire in disgrace and shame - but with a good amount of loot. he will still win by fooling the public into believing he was a legit contender all along

Be interesting to see how Wlad fights, going into the ring with bad intentions in his heart. If he plans to punish Haye, I think he'll be the aggressor from R1, but use the jab n grab technique for 11 rounds, until his prediction in the 12th. Wlad can easily unsettle Haye with his jab, as its a lot quicker than people think.

          :-)

Instead, he says a message of punishment will be handed out in the ring.

compared to wladimirs past opponents haye will be more harder for him to out work, people can call haye chinny or crap all they want but unlike wlad he does not jab jab jab and then clinch or do a straight right every now and then...wladimir does have a good chance of beating haye but this will never be a walkthrough for him, haye has KO power like wladimir and has a good chance at a KO victory or a stoppage as does wladimir with haye...

If Wlad loses by knockout he's not retiring. Old Man Haye is the one retiring regardless, remember?

Pretty sure one of them is going to need smelling salts after. Smart money says that'll be Haye.

I'm not saying a jab or any clumbsy punch is going to rock Wlad but a timed overhand caught flush will more than likely have Wlad walking like bambi to be an open target.

Why do you think people have Haye only having a chance by KO?
The reality is that Haye has only 26 fights and most of his knock outs have been against less than elite fighters. And actually he has only fought two world class fighters while in their prime. And I am actually laughing while I am typing this because they were Valuev and Enzo.
