and once again, swollen hands is not an injury u shelve a fighter 6 months for. ive never heard of that. and obviously donaire didnt agreed to be shelved so arum knew what he was doing. and now, he'll pay i reckon. a breach is a breach and this is looking like a breach.

lmao...arum really screwed up this time. i dunno how he can claim donaire was injured if donaire himself never said that he was seriously injured. arum's probably in breach. i mean, sometimes he needs to drop the, "i kno whats best for my fighter" act and actually ask the fighter what he wants to be done. if donaire wanted to fight and arum shelved him, that is a breach.

Donaire has been injured several times during his past fights, it could be one of the causes why he fights about 2x/year. He's been under rehab for the "old trauma" on his hands. Making him fight 3x/year may aggraviate his injury until it is fully healed.

Personally if I was a promoter, I would not put a hot prospect like Nonito in a fight if he isnt 100%. Especially when its hand issues. U put him in like that, he further injures his hands to the point where he needs surgury, and then what?

Well that all depends on if there was $ involved when Donaire signed the contract with TR. If so, I cant blame a man for looking out for his investment and not letting Donaire go out there and screw his hands up to the point where he really cant fight and bring in the bucks.

i get that...but if the doctor says its not serious, as he did there, theres no real valid reason to place him on injury leave. rachel isnt wrong. the doctor basically agreed with what she said, in other words.

You may be right on that. Although, I have a hard time believing that Arum didn't know that he had a breach of contract with Nonito. Unless he was banking on Nonito being an idiot, it's a risky game to play especially for someone who has been in the game as long as Arum.
