Really, i'm too young to have ever listened to Barry Tompkins on an HBO broadcast: but for those on the forums old enough to offer insight: who was a better commentator? For my part, I can tell you I have never heard anyone better than Jim Lampley: he just has that "it" factor when it comes to calling a fight: he brings the sort of emotion no one else even comes close to matching? Love him or hate him, would you rather listen to the Showtime guys or Teddy and Joe Tessitore?
