Martinez has openly campaigned for fights against the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather and Miguel Cotto. None of those fights are likely to come to fruition.

People can laugh all they want at K9 but he is a real man for stepping up to the plate and challenging Martinez, regardless if he gets spanked or not.

Personally I was hoping for a K9 vs Lara fight.

But K9 vs Martinez is obviously better than Martinez vs Manfredo and K9 is a legit belt holder.

both floyd & pac fought at 154 for money fights and were one time fights and/or historical purposes. You wouldn't expect Roy Jones to fight Lennox Lewis and the Klitscho's after he beat Ruiz would you? Didn't think so.
