WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch told his local paper, The Nottingham Post, that he's getting impatient on waiting for a venue to be finalized for his semi-finals bout against Glen Johnson in the Super Six tournament. The fight is scheduled for May 21 and could take place in the United States, but nothing has been set. The winner of Froch-Johnson will face the winner of the other bout in the semi-finals of the Super Six, where Andre Ward will defend his WBA super middleweight title against Arthur Abraham.

Why not have the fight in Nottingham where it makes the most money? Johnson and Froch are hardly draws in the states and I doubt they have enough star power to attract a decent crowd. Having the fight in Nottingham would ensure a lively and atmospheric sold out arena which can only be good for boxing.
