Ortiz brutalized Maidana just as much as Madaina brutalized Ortiz. That whole fight was brutal, but Ortiz gave up. It had potential to be fight of the year.

Also despite the judges, Ortiz beat Peterson. He was a bit **** in the second half, but it definitely was not enough to counteract the knockdowns.

Maidana was zeroing in and landing every right hand he threw. Whether or not Ortiz quit, he was on his way to a stoppage loss.
Ortiz gave up tons of rounds against Peterson, backing off and letting Peterson box him. He gave that victory away.
I like Ortiz, Ive met him in person a few times and hes a really nice kid. Im just keeping it real.
