Could've swore I her Pac'n'em say they've surpassed Floyd and they don't need him! What's all this talk about how they wanna outdo him!!
Facts.
Floyd fought Oscar at his championship weight 154lbs, even came in at 150lbs.
Floyd fought a strong undefeated Hatton at 147lbs.
Floyd fought a live Sugar Shane coming off a TKO win over Antonio.
Floyd outclassed a game, but chubby Marquez who gave Manny all he could handle... Twice.
Team Cotto wanted no parts of Floyd after a failed trial run with Henry Bruseles. Floyd demostrated exactly what would happen to Miguel if he hopped through the ropes. Cotto never attended a Mayweather bout again. Facts. Floyd's name never left his mouth. Period.
Floyd probably ducked Margarito, however, it worked out better for him in the long run financially and physically. If Margs was plastered up, it could've been bad.
So yeah, Pac is eating Floyd's leftovers. Doesn't make him less entertaining, but it does leave reasonable doubt in my mind about why he won't fight a live opponent outside Top Rank.
He is part of an ongoing deception... Just my current opinion. Don't get mad.
I ain't too happy about Floyd right now, and he ain't the face of boxing. But inside that square circle? Forget about it. He's amazing, but he's inactive. And I can't keep watching his old fights or defend him. Just can't stand the BS people on here chat. Pac is the man right now. But it's clear he needs Floyd. Team Pac can keep eating bums, but they know at some point to define this legacy, the kid needs to test clean and knock Floyd out...
