haha, yup calling out lighter weight fighters and average fighters. just marketing
thats all this is. They gonna milk and protect him until he runs dry. promoters dont care about boxing or their fighters anymore. They just use and use. there is no money in a manfredo fight, but just the martinez following. guess once you have the look down, the public appeal down, and the title(s). it stops being about boxing at that point! yes that goes to pac and mayw aswell.

if you were sergio it would make perfect sense... i cant agree with lou anymore on this. this guy has given us four straight AWESOME FIGHTS and has won them all and other fighters (i.e. berto) fight bums like freddy hernandez and make more money than he has.. Sergio definitely deserves an "easy" fight to cash in on his popularity until either margo, cotto, etc decide to fight him...

This guy is probably the biggest joke of a promoter. He talks mad **** about other promoters on their fighters fighting bums and now we have this on top of what Berto already does.

He needs to take tough big fights before he gets too old. why waste time with manfredo when while can still beat bigger opponents?

In all fairness it makes sense to me serg is old and needs to stay active until someone steps up and fight him. Like they said he hasn't ducked anyone and needs big fights now he only has a good year or 2 left he's almost 40. So give him a treat and when someone with a big name that brings money to the table steps up I'm sure he will take it.

Sergio deserves an easy fight after the last 4 he's had. As long as they line up a tough opponent for him in November I have no problem with this.
