Be it business or just avoiding a tough fight, Pac not fight Mosley when he had the chance makes him fighting Mosley now less of an important win, and if he looks less then amazing against someone Mayweather shut out it will be even worse.

I respect Pacquiao for staying active but his choice of opponents lately has been suspect, be it because they're not at the top of their game or because they're not in Arums pocket. If Mayweather had been fighting the same opposition instead we'd never hear the ****ing end of it.

ever wonder why marquez did not get the fight? according to you guys, pacquiao fights guys who:

        1. Are floyd's left overs
        2. Looked bad in his last ppv fight
        3. Is easy work

marquez seems to fit the bill perfectly, plus there is a decent demand for this fight. so what's wrong here?

Marquez was tied to GBP. Mosley was not. What's your point?

mosley was not tied to GBP? or did shane just say it?

gbp promoted shane's last fight. its only recent that he broke ties with them.

He fulfilled his contract either right before or right after the Margarito bout. So no, he wasn't tied down. They promoted it because he had no other choice, not because he was under their banner. He got turned down by Pacquiao.

no, he doesn't have a contract with them, but he is still a partner, hence, he wa still part of goldenboy

“I don’t have a promotional contract with Golden Boy. I was just a partner with Golden Boy. I really haven’t had a promotional contract with Golden Boy for the last two years. I was just a partner. I would fight under the Golden Boy banner because, you know, basically I was a part of it. But for this particular fight, Golden Boy was having problems speaking with Bob Arum,” Mosley said.
so shane stated that goldenboy was having problems with them getting the fight with pacquiao. this was after shane looked terrible against mora.

he left golden boy last december, and the fight is now made.

so the factor here is the promoter, not who pacquiao "fears"

LOL @ still a partner. So? You think Top Rank is Arum's only company? Stop making excuses. GBP wouldn't have gotten any cut from that fight. THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT IT.

                    what are you talking about?

shane said it himself. golden boy was having trouble landing the pacquiao fight when he was under gbp. arum didn't want it even last december cause shane was still affiliated with them.

at this point shane already lost floyd, looked terrible against mora, and still old as ****.

when he officially left them, the fight was made.

the factor here is shane being under golden boy.
