and I stand by that statement.

Margarito-coming off long suspension and unimpressive 10 round win against Roberto Garcia.

Clottey coming off close points loss to Cotto neither fighter impressed.

    Cotto same as Clottey.

Hatton didn't look great against hand picked light hitter Paulie, and nearly got K.Oed by Juan Lazcano.

Oscar looked unimpressive in a fight that was supposed to be easy for him against Steve Forbes.

Finally the great David Diaz coming off a MD to Ramon Montano

Next up 40 year old Mosley who hasnt won a fight in over 2 years.

So there you have it try to keep up with my posts and read them accurately before replying.
    Excuses for every Pacquiao's success !! That's symptom !!

you're dumb. the best fight to be made at that time was against cotto. bigger ppv draw and had a win over mosley. if pac took on mosley then, you'd be yappin like a vagina about how cotto had already destroyed that version of mosley.

Donaire is too small for Pac. other than cotto, clottey, margo and shane, who do you think pac's dance partner in the ring @147 that can bring the most money as boxing you know is a business?
So I take it Clottey brings more money to the table than Berto right?

                  pacman vs. mayweather

pacman beat great fighters in all of his weight classesand the most impressive win he had at the upper weight classes was the cotto win(at 145 but cotto was still dangerous. i have heard rumrs that cotto couldnt hydrate above a certain weight but idk how tru those rumors are) after that i think the hatton destruction and the clottey fight were most impressive, the man is truly an ATG.

As for Floyd he beat everyone at 130, fought some of the best at 135 in castillo at his prime and then once he moved up started to cherry pick opponents at the higher weights but he deserved to do so (i just cant give him much credit because he never cotto or margarito when they were on top of their game) his biggest win i think was the de la hoya fight at 154 and he wasnt most impressive in that fight although i think he clearly won. i honestly feel he would have beaten both cotto and margarito just like i think he would beat pacman at 147 i just dont understand why hes not taking the fight (maybe hes scared but that fight would be bigger than the superbowl).

mayweather not fighting those names mentioned above at the right times is the reason why i wouldnt put him in the top 10 ATG'S at least on my list. , but non the less they are both two of the best fighters of this era

Berto and Mosley was not available when Clottey was chosen.
Can you please name a fighter that was available at the time, other than Mayweather, that would've sell out Cowboys stadium + 700k PPV?
