As big of a Cotto fan I am and as much of a peice of **** Margarito is, I'm glad to "see" that Cotto did infact shake his hand apposed to refusing like many reported. On a side note Don King had me laughing my face of through out the promotion with the whole "VIVA PUERTO RICO".
I don't think arum should have brought margarito to the podium. I know it's to promote the fight, but he knows there's some bad blood and that was cotto's time, it's a little disrespectful.
But i think cotto should have shaken margarito's hand. Just keep it professional.
But i'm seeing people call cotto a poosay for shaking margarito's hand....first of all, shaking his hand would have been the right thing to do you primitive hoodlums.
But the fact remains...he refused to shake his hand. I don't know where you guys are getting your facts from. Doug fisher and kevin iole, both of whom were actually there said that cotto refused to shake his hand.
They definitely shook hands, but you can tell by the way Cotto didn't even bother looking at him that there is still some major bad blood there. And at Steward's handshake.
