    Scrambled Thoughts on Klitschko/Solis

First of all, I'd like to point out that Odlanier Solis has knocked out and outclassed David Haye in the amateurs. Its one thing to win a decision, but its another thing to KO someone. Solis KO'd Haye. Quite honestly, if Solis fought Haye today I'd call it a 50-50 fight. Solis is a big puncher, but has better technical skills than Haye and was a legendary amateur.

So I honestly think there is some reasoning behind ranking Solis as potentially the 3rd best Heavyweight in the World (obviously below both Klitschko brothers).

I think Vitali deserves a lot of credit for fighting an Olympic Gold Medalist who has looked great as a Pro.

Having said that, I was a bit unimpressed with Odlanier Solis' last fight against Ray Austin. Ray Austin (Wlad KO victim) was more than competitive with Solis and in fact the fight was about even when it was stopped in round 10 on a DQ.

So, based on the most recent result of Solis, as well as Klitschko's tough innate ability. I do favour Vitali on a late TKO or decision win.

This would be a very significant win for Vitali, and if Vitali can do it by TKO, even better.

This is the type of fight that can be used to substantiate Vitali as an alltime Great.

Odlanier Solis is an amateur alltime great and a very solid pro. Beating Solis make's Vitali's legacy look much better.

You forget to mention that Haye hurt him badly with an uppercut in the 1st round and couldve quite easily stopped him....

David Haye was outclassed and dominated by Odlanier Solis before getting knocked out. End of discussion.

Yes, seen the fight. Haye was down considerably on points at the time of stoppage and truly, Solis beat the **** out of Haye and was clearly on another level.

To be honest even if Solis fought Haye in pro's today, I'd lean a bit towards Solis winning. Solis hits just as hard, but Solis is also a wayyyyyyy better technical boxer and also takes a better punch.

Solis is a much better fighter than Hypejob Haye.

This will be a great win for Vitali.

So why do you fail to acknowledge Haye having Solis on ***** street within the first 20 seconds, forcing him to take a count?
