Man I know this is the Internet, and a boxing forum at that, where we all can express our opinions BUT this **** is getting out of control. I have been living the Mexican/Puerto Rican rivalry thing since I was like 10 years old (since the Chavez/Camacho fight) and never once remembered racist comments or us Latinos bashing each others home country, territory, island...what ever the ****! It must be just that... because it's the Internet!!!

I mean I know a few on here have hidden agendas which they use to talk smack about others, but the one thing that truly upsets me is the degradation of this forum and how others whom know the sport, or want to learn about the sport of boxing, won't join due to these ridiculous posters that should have been IP banned months if not years ago. Come on NSB!!!! Take care of this!

I'm with you bro. It's the pride thing. Mexicans and Puerto Ricans have so much pride that it's crazy !! It's sucks that we can't get along because all it takes is one comment and then all hell breaks loose. Everyone knows the Mexican vs Puerto Rican rivalry is the best in boxing. I know the whole controversy with Margarito vs Cotto is still fresh on everyone's minds ( Cotto fans and boxing fans ). Hopefully if and when this rematch is over we as boxing fans can put all the BS behind us and just enjoy boxing. Nevertheless, the rivalry and pride will live on. And both sides might never get along.
