Some interesting heavyweight fights coming up

During the weeks and months to come, we're finally going to have some interesting heavyweight matchups:

Mar 19: V. Klitschko vs. Solis

Mar 26: Bahktov vs. Glazkov & Dimitrenko vs. Sosnowski

    Apr 2: Helenius vs. Peter

June 25 or July 2: W. Klitschko vs. Haye

    Sept: Klitschko vs. Adamek

And from what I've been reading, there are other possibilities:

Chisora vs. Fury (possibly on May 21)
Povetkin vs. Chagaev or Mormeck in June
    Kevin Johnson-Grant in June
Arreola vs. TBA on May 14 (hopefully a contender)

The heavyweight division has suffered from a lack of meaningful fights the past couple of years, with contenders fighting clubfighters instead of other contenders. But this year is looking MUCH better than before.

Yes, the division is definitely pretty exciting this year.

Most looking forward to Fury and Chisora.

It's not on the level of the other fights in terms of real significance in the division but it is the most evenly matched fight.

A prime Chagaev and Povetkin would have been good. But I'm not sure why Chagaev is still around to be honest aside from sitting on a ridiculously high ranking by the WBA and waiting for another payday.

I think Haye is going to lose easily the more I think about it. Solis is fat. And for me, Sam Peter is one of the worst fighters fighting at world-level in any division.

Wlad vs Adamek is a good old fashioned mismatch.

Don't get me wrong, I'll watch them all. For the heavies I've always enjoyed the British scene as they are all pretty much as good or as bad as each other.

Those are pretty interesting, I am wondering what Solis will weigh in at later this week.

Damn really? He just had 2 tuneup already.

Chambers would be a great opponent for him now.

The Tuaman also attempts to restart his comeback against Demetrice King this Saturday in NZ.

I'd like to see Arreola vs Tua at some point if Tua can get it going this Saturday. There's been some talk about that fight being made, but we have to see if Tua really was injured when he drew with Barrett or if that was just an excuse.

He needs to get a highlight reel KO of King this weekend.
