Comments Thread For: Donaire May Go To Super Bantamweight on May 28

WBC/WBO bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire (26-1, 18KOs) is considering a move to super bantamweight. The Filipino boxer is waiting for a finalized opponent for his ring return on May 28 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. As BoxingScene.com had previously reported, the targeted opponent, WBA champion Anselmo Moreno, is looking for a mid-six figure offer to take the fight. If Donaire is unable to secure an opponent at bantamweight, he is willing to take a fight at super bantam.

hope Nonito doesn't leave 118 without Mares-Agbeko winner or Moreno

            Fighter of the Year here.

Moving up two weight divisions since 2010 and probably winning his third belt this year.

Sad, they rob a boxer the chance to unify the Bantamweight division.

Moreno needs to accept that he is not a superstar and won't be paid like one. He should take the fight with Donaire and if he can beat him then the money will come.
