Kelly should have fought Sturm earlier, it would have extended his championship reign a little longer.

had Pavlik gotten a better trainer, and stayed active without his drinking problem i would have loved to see Pavlik-Froch.

But Pavlik is reaching here Froch just had the wrong gameplan vs Taylor and thought he could walk through him. If you watch round 6 onwards Froch changes from aggressive to technical boxing and easily pulled back those easrly rounds. Plus the scoring was completely biased anyway just like it was in Pavlik vs Taylor 1 when pavlik was getting jobbed by HBO because Taylor was their 'golden boy'

The guy needs 3 new things to be fairly succesful again: a new head trainer, a strength and conditioning coach and a nutritionist. Simple. When he has those things and has won maybe 2-3 fights at 168 he should go after whoever is the weakest champion at the weight which is Stieglitz right now. Bute, Froch and Ward school him like B-Hop did imo.
