Pacquiao and Marquez both rehydrate to 145-148...

That means they're the same size. So a fight at WW is 100% fair and competitive, especially since Manny will weigh-in at 144-145 as usual.

Plus, this sets up Marquez-Martinez at 154 when J.M. beats Manny.

    Can't wait.

no way...pac has no business fighting lightweights. jmm will be another carefully matched, cherrypick fight for pac especially at welter. pac needs to go up and fight at 154 and face real challenges

It's only Floyd fans that are saying giving up 20 plus pounds in fight night is good.

      Bunch of morons.

The funny part is that Manny would probably only outweigh Marquez by 2 pounds at weigh in comparison to weighing 10 whole pounds below the junior middleweight limit against Martinez.

And that's how much he weighs after eating breaking, lunch, and a sandwich before stepping on the scale.

          No!

Marquez is to slow, or lethargic at 147. 135 is not even his best weight, yet he is more fluid at 135. Maybe 140, but I doubt Roach doesn't want it. Maybe they don't want any wear and tear on Pac incase a Mayweather fight happens? That could be it, as Marquez is going to give Pac hell, considering they fight at 140.

Actually scratch that, Marquez is 5'7" to Manny's 5'6". Juan Manuel is clearly the bigger man.

You can't dispute my impeccable logic

only Pac haters will say its unfair. JMM will weigh around 144 lbs and Pac around 146 lbs. JMM doesnt have to dehydrate all the way to 135 lbs to make the weight. he will be in his natural weight. if somebody will say its unfair is just an idiot trying to discredit Pac. they cant believe Pac accomplished this much. haters still dont understand that its better to fight a guy your own size withouth dehydrating. they would still argue that Marquez is a lightweight and Pac is a welterweight.
