man sergio's resume prior to Williams was straight @ss. Yes he deserves that payday but until then why not continue to put work in. Why is it if he can't get Manny, Floyd or Cotto next it's guys like Chavez Jr or Andy Lee?

And FWIW he isn't getting slave wages. He got a decent pay for both Wiliams and Dzin bouts on top of DiBella setting aside a PPV date (not sure if that rumor is true though) later on this year.

Sergio is just as good as Floyd and Pac but he gets 1.x mil, compared to their 20-30mil fighting easy fights.

Also as for the first P Will fight, he was a last minute fill in who was expected to lose. But thanks to that very night he went noticed.

I agree that he is just as good. I think if he had the right promoter, could speak English and was a few years younger, he could be the 3rd biggest draw in boxing because he has the exciting style to attract tons of fans.

However I realize that Manny and Floyd aren't facing him unto the face each other or feel that a fight will never happen between the two of them. Mayweather vs Pacquiao is the biggest fight since Leonard vs Hearns and will decide this eras best fighter as well as put a stamp on each legacy. There is so much implications behind that fight that only a fool would think they either would go up to 154 to face Martinez then back down to face the other...this handicapping themselves in the biggest fight of their career.

Martinez just has to be patient because until then he will have to continue to put in work so he can keep his buzz going. Him fighting Pirog, Sturm and Golovkin isn't much to ask and its not like I'm saying he should move up to face Froch or Bute.

Rather all I'm saying is fight the best in your class until that big fight happens because if Sergio keeps doing what he is doing then it will come a point to where the Pac/May winner vs Martinez will be the only fight that makes sense.

And all were saying is that the big fight should happen NOW. Like, this year. So instead of telling Martinez to keep fighting top fighters (duh, as if he's out cherry-picking), why don't you start making posts about how those top fighters need to get him in the ring ASAP? I better be see you calling out the apple out your eye after he beats Mosley, posting that he needs to fight Martinez.

He needs to fight Berto next and then Mayweather in the spring. That's what Manny should do. After that then yes I will go into my full "Manny vs Sergio needs to happen next" mode.

Hopefully Ortiz can pull and upset and Floyd can take a tuneup in he summer and face Manny in the fall so the process can be sped up.

As long as Berto is undefeated and a belt holder at WW, Manny is obligated to fight him.

Berto was available for this May 7th. What's changed that Manny is now obligated to fight him? Notice how you keep talking about who Manny is gonna fight in his next bout? After he disposes of yet another undeserving contender? So hilarious

Ur asking him to wait, but waiting any longer and he cannot make 154 and still be a live dog. It needs to be done now. Then the excuse becomes, well there's no way pac and Floyd can do 160, which is fair, which is why the fight needs to be made now. Sure the big 3 are the cashcows, but Sergio si the man to beat right now. He is expected to win.

That's always the answer. "He needs to do more!" Yeah, like lose to Floyd and look like **** against Mora.

How is Berto and underserving contender? He is the next best option at WW and will allow Floyd vs Manny to be for the Ring/Lineal WW title when they meet.

Manny and Berto is the fight that should happen next....I've said this for the longest.

You said Manny was obligated to fight him. Berto was available for May 7th. Manny didn't choose to fight him. So obviously Manny disagrees.
