Keep it up though, p*ssing against the wind is always a good idea
    Strange. Just strange.

But the irony and the hypocracy you shown now and then makes your opinion laughable and amusing in this matter. I remember clearly when Pac was making noise and has a threat to Floyd's p4p#1 ststus. You and the *****s keep telling us in this board night and day....Floyd should lose first or retired before Pac can even succed him. Double standard isn't it

Where's the love for my boy Donaire? It should be Pac #1, Flash and Sexy tied at #2.

And he certainly won't if he keeps fighting undeserving guys.

6year win streak is just as impressive if not less than retiring undefeated. So WHAT! #1 & #2 are doing NOTHING!

interesting how if you have a different frame of mind from someone else, youre magically a 'hater'. or racist, that gets thrown out a lot too.

I dont think that Martinez is p4p #1 yet, but if he beats another top guy compared to Pacquiao fighting Mosley...I have no problem whatsoever with making him #1.
I dont even think Martinez is legendary or anything, but accomplishments mean more than anything else. and his last few fights he has been doing excellent against top of the line fighters.

the question is, how long can you live off of past victories?

                  its all opinion

yours is as good as the next guy's

most people put floyd at number 2 coming from "retirement" for beating marquez and had him at number 1 after beating mosley all the while manny has been dominant againts oscar, cotto, and hatton. manny being higher than martinez is a hell a lot more acceptable than that imo.

then again, there is no real standard to how to go about these rankings.

                    agree on all of this.

pacquiao has to pick it up after the mosley tune up

Manny and Floyd are better than Martinez for the simple fact that we hold both to a higher standard than Sergio.

                      Here are some fun facts:

                      1. If Manny or Floyd tried to face Cotto at 154, people would have a heart attack, but Martinez vs Cotto will be the greatest thing since slice bread.

                      2. Martinez going after smaller men for money and P4P ranking is what's hot, yet people flame Floyd for the Marquez bout, and even Manny even tries to face Marquez next, even though they the same size and have unsettled business between each other, it considered cherry picking on Manny's part.

That alone let's you know that both are better than Sergio. We expect more from both and not much from Martinez but I love how he gets 3 hot (yet overrated) wins and he is the greatest thing since sliced bread....especially when a guy like Manny has been putting in work for years.
