I dont think so or else they wouldnt have requested a catchweight.

yeah you're right that 1 pound really hurt cotto weighing in at 146 then losing a whole pound to 145 damn that one pound would have ko'd pac in 3 or less.

I’m Boricua and catch-weight or no catch-weight Cotto still gets stomped by Manny.

Speed was a much bigger problem than the catch weight.

Why waste space on the internet with such a terrible thread? It was a domination.

I'm a Cotto fan, and I'll tell you the weight had nothing to do with Cotto losing. I'd blame Cotto himself and his trainers before I make excuse about the weight (which was 1 lb less than he was making the last 3 years at Welterweight).

I want to believe that the extra two pounds contributed to his demise, but the fact is, he brought his ******* to a fight involving uzis.

Sure, the ******* has the power, but by the time it lets off, you're peppered by uzis and left dazed and confused.

He lost his composure after the flash knock down and went to reclaim those points and took hits in the fourth that totally got him out of the fight. He had good moments after the fourth, in the later rounds, but at that point, it was too late.
