way to step up Sturm. This is the super fight everyone has been demanding you to fight. Khurtsidze is on everyone's pound 4 pound list, a real beast he is.

Actually he is a damn beast. He's only 5'5 but he gave N'jikam everything he could handle and lost a controversial decision.

Khurtsidze-N'jikam was arguably FOTY for 2010 and was an absolute war. Certianly top 5 most exciting fights.

Khurtsidze deserves this shot and a big pay day.Khurtsidze beat Hassan N'dam n'jikam last year in france, but got jobbed. even the french crowd bood at N'dam.

Anyone really surprised by this? It is Sturm. He just isn't going to fight any elite fighters or a Golovkin or Pirog with a big punch, so we might as well accept it.
He likes being called "champion" by his fans and the local media and he's fine with no-risk fights in Germany, where he'll never lose a decision. Nothing is going to change until he grows old and retires or some no-hoper hits him with a lucky punch

Khurtsidze is a relentless pressure fighter similar to Pawel Wolak. He was robbed in France in the fight with N'Jikam for the interim WBA middleweight title.

I think there is a good chance he will defeat Sturm.

I pretty much share the same attitude. Hell, I hear some people saying of how undeserving James Kirkland is at a shot at Martinez. But Kirkland has a better resume than Sturm and he doesn't even have a title. Lol. Sturm is ridiculously protected. Horrible title holder.
