He can still beat Cotto again, but Martinez? Not the same puppy he destroyed ages ago. Martinez would wreck, ruin, and retire him in nasty fashion. People would be screaming murder...

One good win vs the only elite in Mosley doesn't make you a HOF. If that's the case then Margarito has a case for beating that HOF and being in the HOF.

Cotto gets too many easy fights.

Randall and if Martinez keeps going he will as well.

They are more legit wins than Floyd's over Gatti so I wouldn't be talking.

            list more please
If he wouldn't have been much avoided during his prime that list would have been a lot greater. Mayorga never wanted to fight him when he was at the top, neither did Oscar or Mayweather. What other top 147 lbs was there for him to fight at the time?

EDIT: ****, I forgot Martinez in that list also
*Puppy or not they were both coming up and Tony stopped him.

There is a case for, and against.

For: ranked and succesful WW champion for ages.

Against: Scandals (proven or not), never challenged himself at a higher weight class, despite having the size. I've always wondered why such a big dude never campaigned against the 154 champs... He has only seen success at 147 then, as compared to a fighter he destroyed in Cotto, yes, but Cotto has tried his luck in 3 different divisions..
