I think Cotto guarded his chin very well.

He kept his left very high and moved his head well.

Most people including myself think he most likely did but there is no way of knowing for sure. Regardless of what happened that night i think this rematch is a 50-50 fight because margaritos style of fighting will trouble Cotto.

Cotto did beat Mayorga but is that really an accomplishment. If Cotto hopes to beat the relentless Margarito then he will have to learn to tie up punch hard to the body. I know everyone here has heard styles makes fights. Margarito has the perfect style to beat Cotto. Pressure, Pressure, Pressure with a high volume output. Cotto left me wondering if he's done aganist Mayorga with all the useless punches he was caught with. His defense needs to be a lot better and his movement, body punches and in fighting needs to be much improved.

I never knew the answer to this but who hits harder Mosley or Cotto. Mosley stood on the inside and took Margarito out. Cotto abandoned his body punches in the first fight and was boxing perfectly until late when he was gassing out. I look for a repeat but hope Cotto can redeem himself. Only way to slow Margarito down is with the Body punches and Movement. I will give Cotto this though, Stewart has his Jab looking like Tommy Hearns Jab atleast for that fight.
