thats not my understanding of it. haye says he signed to wlad. but should wlad pull out due to injury ( brickin himself ) then vitali will step in. thats the deal.

Why didn't he defend against Chagaev instead of fighting Fraudley?

Especially as he says he is quitting very soon?

Wlad has beaten champs and ex-champs like Chagaev, Sam Peter, Hasim Rahman, Lamon Brewster, Sultan Ibragimov, etc.

Haye has (barely) beaten a Valuev who was broken down physically and who has been having surgeries for the last year.

There is no comparison at all between Wlad's record at HW and Haye's, and unless you are insane you should be able to see this.
