    Donaire To Golden Boy?

(By the bye, I would say that Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire trying to exit TR and go to Golden Boy with Juan Ma coming in the opposite direction hardly seems like a fair "player swap" given that the Fil-Am is a decade younger than JMM. But we shall see what we shall see.)
LAS VEGAS--Who would have thunk it? At age 33, five time world champion Zab Judah, who has been fined and suspended for misconduct inside the ring and had misadventures outside it, now carries himself like a distinguished gentleman.

This is from Marley's recent article on here. He's close to Top Rank, so the info can very well be accurate.

Is this why Top Rank came out with the statement of exercising a clause that extends the Donaire contract for another year?

GBP is the most honest promotion aside from Dibella...Top Rank treats their fighters like circus animals...GBP treats them like athletes...

GBP is a snake of a promotional company becuz the WBC wanted Canelo to get the title, and somehow that's GBP's fault. He's also a snake becuz he likes letting fights cook before actually making them so that his FIGHTERS can make the maximum amount of money while at the same time giving the fans the fight they want.

In today's boxing world, u have to fight everyone NOW or ur an overhyped duck...

Well at least thats what I read

I wouldn't blame Donaire, Top Rank wasted 3-4 years of his prime on obscure Pinoy Power cards fighting unknowns. GBP would've had him on HBO or Showtime fighting Mijares, other good opponents, and in the Showtime tourney.

I can understand the move, Donaire wants to maximize his revenue and you achieve that in boxing when you're fighting consistently on HBO (minus being or fighting a superstar on PPV). He also seems intent on fighting the winner of the Showtime tournament, but knows that it's far fetched if Mares wins. If Donaire is planning on staying at 118 for some time, GBP is the best option, fights against Mares, Moreno, and pretty much any top 10 fighter (sans Montiel) can be made there.

3 or 4 years ago it would've been a great move, but now, it seems like the wrong time to leave Top Rank. If he plans to keep moving up in weight divisions, 122 is next and Top Rank can give him Vazquez, Molitor, and Rigondeaux. Not the most recognizable names, but the Vazquez and Rigondeaux would continue to add to his fame and clout. After that its 126, where Lopez and Gamboa are. Those would make his star shine brighter. He already has HBO's attention, he's already getting shine, he should just fall back and really think about what he wants to do in the short and long term.

I hope Donaire goes to GBP. I'd start hugging his nuts real hard then.
