Mayo said that he talks sht to promote the fight but that he doesn't mean it and that he apologized to Cotto. He also said he was very surprised by Miguel's power and that Miguel's punch is extraordinarily hard.

This is why I love Mayorga, he gives the fighters props after bashing the **** out of them in the press for our entertainment. He cares about the fans. lol.

Mayorga said he was surprised with Cotto's power. Mayorga admitted that "He (Cotto) punches extrodinaroly hard". He also said he apologized to Cotto personally if he offended him during the promotion and he hopes fans understand he was simply promoting the event. He thanked his fans for the support and reiterated that he is retiring.

Miguel said that the gameplan was to go 12 Rounds and that Mayorga is still dangerous with his hands but at the end of the day things turned out better than he thought they would.
