Sergio is the ****in man but I hope he will stop calling out Pacquiao.

Cotto or Mayweather are better choices, or anybody valuable at 160. I wish Sturm would come out of his german hole.

Ducked nothing, he needs to prove himself before he can claim anyone is ducking him. Walking around with a make believe world title doesn't entitle him to a shot at the champ.

Yup no duck here. Pirog is new on the scene maybe at the end of the year or early next year. I think Martinez's best options are Sturm, Mayweather, the winner of Cotto/Margarito and I personally think he has a chance against some the guys at 168. Kessler and Froch would make for awesome scraps. Abraham is dangerous but if Froch boxed this dudes ears of Serg can dance circles around him. Ward's style just sucks the excitement out of anyone and he's a great athlete that's not a good option, and Direll is super fast and still developing his power. Serg should take an easy fight in the summer and take one one of those guys at the end of the year.

r u joking? it took him too long - when he got 5 knockdowns in 8 rounds - that really must be a joke. that Martinez knocked out the fighter many had ranked as the top 154 lber in the world, who was known as a tough style and almost impossible to look against - just dominated him - and it still wasn't good enough.

And for those claiming Martinez is duckin Pirog - that's almost as laughable as saying Martinez looked like garbage. Sergio has fought Cintron, Williams, Pavlik, Williams, Dzinziruk in past 5 fights, and you think he's ducking some european who has never beat anyone except a prospect who also hadn't beaten anyone. Yeah, Martinez fights and dominates Williams and Dzinziruk after winning the title, but he's scared of Pirog - thats actually funny!

Whoa, when did Martinez dominated Williams? Williams got knocked out by a lucky punch and it wasn't even a set up nor deliberate. Martinez just got a lucky knockout punch against Williams in their second rematch which Williams won the first match. And he didn't dominate Kelly Pavlik.

Man, some people are riding Martinez's **** hard. Martinez wins by split decisions and his one lucky KO came after a second rematch. Why not rematch against Paul Williams? Oh that's right, before Martinez vs Williams fought for the second time Williams was ranked number 4 in the P4P list. Williams owned Margarito, Cintron, Martinez, and Quintana in boxing skills. Williams got the technical boxing skills to win and he proved it by actually winning.

Wow, the nerve that is why I don't understand the hype around Martinez. DZ isn't even a knockout boxer nor does he have the power to scare Martinez off. Williams and Margarito scared Martinez by showing him their power in their punches.
