I'm starting to feel sorry for miguel cotto after always routing against him. He's probably one of the humblest, nicest, soft spoken, shy gentleman like champion boxers i've ever seen. His career has been tough, always fighting the best. His body wasn't made for boxing's weight classes, 147 is too small, 154 is too big. He got humiliated against the smaller man pac, he got nearly killed by margarito and then he was just forced to shake his hand right in front of his family. Mike tyson disrespected his fight last night, disrespected his legacy.

The mexican fans hate him because hes rican, but he doesn't deserve the hate. Tito yes, juanma yes, hector macho camacho yes, but not cotto. Its not cottos fault his rican fanboys are arrogant and racist towards mexicans.

Now we have to see cotto brutalized by margarito again, then probably quit boxing forever.

I'm from Cuernavaca, Morelos in Mexico. I admire and respect Miguel Cotto 100%. To me he is actually my role model. I like humble boxers like himself and Saul Alvarez. Being Mexican (100%) I've always felt Cotto has been a true warrior and a true human being outside of the ring. I too feel that he got dissed by Bob Arum last night by bringing Margarito in. Margarito is turning into a bitter chump. He sure was smiling alot for getting his eye socket replaced. I can't speak for the rest of these California born Mexicans, but me being from Mexico, I am for Cotto 100%. I'm Manny from Chicago by the way if anyone has something to adress.

I am Mexican-American and I don't hate Cotto, he never did anything to me but create some exciting fights. He seems like a good guy and very respectful to his opponents. He deserves everything he has achieved.
