It's not that Cotto is shot...it's the weight...

I don't think he has the power to hurt a legit jmw...he has respectable power at that weight, but I think Cotto can still make 147 without a problem. His power was good from 140-147, but it doesn't seem to have affect at 154. Cotto is not explosive with his power, but his heavy hands is what breaks his opponents down. He seems to not be able to do that really at 154. His body shots took out an INJURED Yuri Foreman who couldn't move much and was stopped lastnight...Cotto could rematch Margarito and then end his career. I think Margs will beat him again and will look dominant if it is at the full 154 pounds...if not cotto should just go to 147 and help bring the WW division back to life...he has a tendancy to get cut easily though that don't mean he's shot...

I agree with the weight but I also think going downhill. I think 154 is the wrong weight for him. His body looked soft and out of shape. He should think about going down in weight were he looked much better.

The man has 2 KO victories in his first 2 fights in the division. But he doesn't have the power to hurt guys at 154?

So I imagined him hitting a much bigger Mayorga so hard with a left hook that he took a knee and then begged the ref to save him?

I agree he should ether bulk a little more up at 154 or go back down to 147.

But Mayorga weighed so much last night.

Odds are that he was a LHW when he walked into the ring.

If Ortiz can beat Berto. Big If.

I would kill to see Cotto-Ortiz at 147.

Power is not a question when he just KOed a true JMW. When you knock a guy out in the twelth does it not count? What fight did yall watch? Damn he only lost maybe 3 rounds.

A pillow punching Foreman that was INJURED and a smoker, wreckless, out of his prime mayorga that DLH took out after a two year lay off 4 years ago are not good victories...

Nobody said they were good victories you clown
They're saying he's stopped two LMW's in both fights, clearly displaying power of some sort
Maybe the power of mental suggestion?

You serious? The first guy tore his ACL and the second guy pretended to break his hand to quit the fight.
