  • Comments Thread For: Khurtsidze Outpoints Cendrowski, Grabs IBO 160lb Title

Avtandil Khurtsidze (23-2-2, 13 KOs), quite possibly the best ever Georgian prizefighter in the history of boxing, accomplished his old dream to become a world champion at the Palace of Sports in Tbilisi, Georgia’s capital and its biggest city. WBA #1 ranked middleweight Khurtsidze grabbed a vacant IBO 160lb title with a tough and rough twelve-round decision over rugged and durable Pole Mariusz Cendrowski (21-3-2, 8 KOs).

This guy is a little 5'5'' wrecking ball @ 160! haha. he can't be hurt. and he took some hellacious shots from n'jikam. that fight was damn close, and depending on if u favor the outside fighter or the insider fighter, either could have won.

At least the IBO belt will be some consolation for Khurtsidze, who was robbed in France.

The officiating in France is as bad as anywhere in the world. The referee even let N'Jikam's cornerman pour cold water over him to cool him off during a pause in the 12th round!

LOL further proof that the IBO is a joke. Why do we need another joke sanctioning title when we all ready have 4 more.
