Don't be ridiculous. Cotto's face was busting up by round two and three. Please don't compare it to Resto. Resto was being hit by fists. The padding had been taken out. There is a massive difference between those two. Margarito had a tiny piece of extra hardened gauze that was about an inch squared that was in his wraps, not in his gloves, which really would have made no difference in the way that fight went.

I'm not saying it wasn't wrong, because it was and is disgusting, but there is no proof it happened against Cotto and to compare it with the Resto thing is an insult to what happened in that fight which was 100 times worse.

Cotto's face always busts up like that and when he was getting hit as much as he was against Marg, well, I don't think it had anything to do with the tiny piece of extra gauze that was found in only one glove.

The Resto incident was infinitely worse in every way than what Marg tried against Mosley. If there is a rematch, we will see if it was that tiny piece of gauze that made Cotto's face bust up....even though we know it wasn't.

Being in his actual wrap, it would have taken the whole fight for any effect to happen and Cotto's face was busting up very early on and he was showing signs of damage, as he always does, very early on. Please don't insult the victims of the Resto incident with comparisons to Cotto/Margarito.

louie resto had padding removed in his gloves and also had plaster inserted..I am comparing the situations because i dont care who is the opposing fighter ,any one who tampers with gloves in the sport is a coward and a cheat...every body says wait until the rematch...unfortunately i don't give a **** about a rematch. Cotto has never been the same fighter since margarito and he never will be...he is the victim of corrupt fighters/trainers/promoters and sanctioned commissions.who are out for money and could careless about anything outside of that ..its a business nobody has respect and is loyal once you become a product of people like bob arum and don king.You dont have to agree with me this is my opinion
