No one hates Martinez.
I actually admire him as a fighter and like what he does for the sport.
However what I don't like is people pretending he isn't guilty of the same thing people accuse Pacquiao and Mayweather for, and also how people try to hype up his opposition while tearing other guys like Pacquiao's opposition down.
If people were consistent, then cool, but too many guys ignore facts because they are biased or have an agenda.
For instance, people bring up the Hattons loss to Mayweather, Cottos loss to Margarito, and Shanes ****ty performance against Floyd and Mora as a way to discredit Manny's opposition. That's cool, but if your consistent than you gotta apply the same to Sergios win over Pav since Kelly's loss to Bhopal was just as bad as any of those by Pacquiao's opponent. Kelly look like **** in his comeback fights as well and was just as damage (mentally) as Margarito due to Bhop taking his soul.
Then people claim Sergio doesn't cherry pick and is what the sport needs but again why is he trying to get Cotto? If you wanna say Shane and Margarito are shot, then what does that make Cotto? Also Sergio tried to fight Lee over Pirog claiming no one knows who Pirog is and he only wants big fights.

All fighters take on soft opposition from time to time, all fight for money, and no one faces world beater after world beater.
