Questionable, I didn't see Zappa getting a flush power punch but Vazquez did give Zappa a proper boxing lesson. Who knows? So, Humberto Soto vs Brandon Rios vs Miguel Vazquez vs Marco Antonio Barrera. Three belt holders this will surely increase Barrera's chances of getting his 4th belt the legit way.

Whats wrong with my fellow mexicans? Like Canelo, Vazquez is another over rated club fighter. I read somewhere on here Vazquez being compared to B-Hop Rios goes through Vazquez in under 8 rounds.

Vazquez has a bad style for Rios, and i would favour Vazquez if they fought.

Rios's power might when him the fight, i can't see Rios making this fight happen yet though.

Rios kills the bambi.i even had a mexican poster who got offended by what i said somehow, anyways i think its a complete mismatch.sure vazquez has legs and boxing abilities but that pressure rios brings is something else.itll be a lamb heading to the slaughter house.i even.think acosta is game against vazquez.

Vazquez says he has the style to beat Rios, that's what Acosta & Peterson thought & look how they ended up.. To beat someone as relentless as Rios a fighter needs to have a lot of power in his punches & movement..Acosta almost had it, but his legs gave out after the 8th round..That was the result from a combination of early body punches by Rios & fatigue from the pressure Rios was putting on Acosta.. Vazquez definitely has good boxing skills & he uses his size advantage very well from the outside & has good movement & conditioning, but his power ain't all that & I think Rios will be too strong for him & the pressure & attack from Rios will eventually wear him down...

well he's not a bad fighter,be boxes ok,but i think the power is important because of rios' style of fighting,i've said it before, only him, segura and margarito (before mosley fight) used to fight that way, pressure and non stop punching,it's hard to beat someone like that and especially if they have power, they are constantly on top of you throwing hard punches all the time....it's one thing to be someone who likes to trade, lets say like pavlik, but to trade and pressure and throw non stop punches is different,if vazquez was faster and more power and had great condition/stamina,i would give him a chance, then again anyfighter with those qualities has a chance
