Do you think DKP could have anything to do with this?

I would really laugh if King was walking one day like in a press conference or whatever and a man with a shaver just jumped n put a patch in his head!

        That would make my day

First Ruiz, then Byrd. I hope Brewster looses to Krasniqi and we will finally see the HW division without that devil DK. That would ensure that we will not see a headline "Golota gets his 27th title shot" sometime in 2025.

With the way things are going in the heavyweight division, Byrd will lose to Williamson, a DK fighter, and his legal proceedings won't matter as much as he won't be champ anymore. Ruiz will lose to McBride, whom DK will have signed by then, and DK will have two NEW champions to make horrible match-ups for.

            McBride-Oquendo anyone?
            How about Williamson-Braithwaite?

If Brewster does somehow lose, you know DK has options on some of Kransniqi's defenses...

DK will be in the game and active until the day he dies, for better or worse.

How about Golota - McBride? That's a PPV material right there

1 - Byrd will never lose to Williamson
2 - Ruiz will never lose to McBride
Unless they are payed off that is!

Byrd / Williamson would be a recap of Raheem / Morales in HWs. Byrd is too skilled and to quick for Williamson.... Easy 12 round UD dance for Byrd.
McBride will never outbox, outhug, or KO Ruiz. Keep in mind he did not beat Tyson; Tyson quit!

Boxing needs to find a way to get rid of Don King once and for all. He's corrupted the sport so badly it sometimes resembles WWF wrestling.

I think Chris Byrd is going to retire soon. He has taken alot of punishment in his fights since he has been at the Championship level. I dont think he has many fights left him. Also many believe that his skills have also clearly declined. He says alot of ascinine **** to promote himself and his wife is annoyinig but I just watched his fight vs Klistchko Wladimir, and I gained some respect for him. He took a pretty bad beating, his dad was gonna throw the towel in the 11th and Byrd waved him off, and finished the fight. Despite the fact he was getting slapped around bad and down twice.

I think he wants to fight Wlad or Vitali for the most money possible and then retire but King wont allow it so long as Byrd possesses the IBF belt. And Byrd does not want to fight Williamson because if he looses he would lose purse percentage in a fight with one of the Klistchko's or a lose a chance at a fight with them all together.

About Byrd unifying at 168. Byrd's first 5 fights, Byrd's weight is listed on the left.
