lets see him chase the belts if he was offered less for travelling then, he knows that across the world he and cal are generally accepted as the two best at 168, he also accepts that cal is a threat and a good name to beat and he also knows that the fight is worth alot more green to him if he travels to the uk to fight cal, he wants to be rich, be considered no1 and beat other respected fighters thats why hes chasing calComment

He only wants the belt?? why doesnt he fight for free then??Originally posted by Rodgers=Bustuh no... he wants the belts. thats why.
Lacy wants money just as much as anyone else.
Calzaghe vs Lacy would sell far more tickets at a far higher cost in the UK, thats why he wants it in the UK, if it was only for the belts they could fight in the US.Comment

hmm
1) Losing muscle mass would be a dumb idea for Lacy. He already has brought a flexibility coach into his stable and that's enough. Purposely losing muscle mass is just a ****** idea. Very bad for your body.he's a talented fighter but needs to lose some muscle mass.
As for him calling Calzaghe out, thats just for show, no fighter needs to call anyone out in puplic because deals are done behind closed doors.
If i'm honest i dont think either fighter is ducking the fight, it will happen soon enough.
2) Yep...Body-builders do suck at boxing.
3) Calling him out is not "just for show". He has to do something to get Joe to fight him, even if embarrass him through public channels.Comment

oh my lord, you get 1.82 dollars to every 1.00 pound.Originally posted by Rodgers=BustYeah right the whatever currency it is in britian is NOT greater than the dollar realize that. Thats why countries trade in the dollar not whatever currency britian is
so if tickets in the UK sell for a £100 then you would have to sell them for $182 in the US to make the same profit.Comment
