Solis is no chump and comes from excellent amateur pedigree. However; he's levitated around 260lbs his entire pro career and his stock rapidly dropped after his performance against Ray Austin in his last fight.

To be a threat to Vitali he will have to come into the ring in much better shape than he has in his entire pro career.

      Vitali will demolish Solis.

Solis struggled and looked bad against 40 year old Ray Austin. One judge had Austin winning 86-84 and another judge had it a draw 85-85.

Wlad destroyed Austin in 2 rounds 4 years ago.

The result of this fight is going to be so funny... dont say I didnt tell you.. lol

Yes I am predicting that Solis will dominate Vitali... most likely by KO.
Vitali is slow and has poor footwork. He has been able to use his size to his advantage by using his 6'8 frame to avoid punches and wear opponents down with his long jab but that only works against one dimensional fighters. As I said before if either of the Klitschkos fight a boxer with more than one skill set i.e. (Handspeed, Power, Footwork) then they are in trouble. More important than Solis handspeed is his timing. You're going to see like everybody else what happens when a fighter with impeccable timing, good hand speed, power and defense meets a big fighter with slow feet and slow hands.

If Vitali defeats Solis next weekend, will you man up and give him props?

To the average observer Solis is fat... right? Most people dont see the details of fights.. the reason why Mayweather is so fast is timing... and he knows how to punch without winding up. Solis is no Mayweather but he knows how to punch and his timing is impeccable.. like James Toney. And footwork doesnt have to be fast to be good. Think of Kevin McHale of the Celtics.. he was slow but his footwork was great.. Solis footwork is excellent. By angles look at how Solis throws a right uppercut and right cross by rotating without turning his body or winding up. That's a skill only some P4P fighters have. Klitschko footwork is very poor.. look at how he falls down against Corrie Sanders when he is forced to retreat. Same things against Chris Byrd. It was these boxers strategies to rush Klitschko with combinations before he could set up. Klitschko CAN NOT fight going backwards. Thats just the beginning... Klitschko is good when you fight his fight.. If youre a one dimensional fighter (like most of their handpicked opponents) you dont have much choice. But Solis is far from one dimensional. You'll see Saturday night... just dont be surprised to see Vitali get stopped.

Much of the Klitschko mystique is media hype. Vitali struggled against an out of shape Corrie Sanders after being fully motivated from his brother being knocked out by Sanders. Sanders just ran out of gas but look at how many times Corrie Sanders hurts Vitali in that fight. Sanders was rushing Vitali the who fight with his hands down. Corrie Sanders doesnt even throw a correct punch. Solis is highly skilled. When he knocks out Vitali dont blame it on age.

You got it the other way around. Muhammy the greatest Clay is media hype. The Klitschkos are the real deal.

              1) Strange, it never occurred to me that Vitali struggled and was lucky he won.
              2) Corrie was in the best shape of his life

              1) Please tell us how many times in how many rounds.
              2) It's heavyweight boxing. Someone "hurting" someone is a no-brainer.

And yet he is in the Top 10 of hardest hitting southpaws of all time.

Psst, Muhammy Clay was Larry Holmes' b-i-t-c-h. Don't blame it on age.
