This is ****** by Mikkel Kessler, due to his injury, he has not been sparring at all before now. He'll be very rusty, and will need a tune up or two.

I reckon the article misinterprets Kessler's intentions by saying he'll go straight for Bute. Bute wont fight again in June. He always takes off a couple of months and has 6+ months etween his fights.

Look for Kessler to make a comeback in June and then possibly Bute in October. Hopefully in Denmark.

Good idea. Come to think of it, the fight probably wont happen this year because:

1: Bute only fights twice a year.
2: Bute has a mando against Mendy coming up.
3: Bute might even lose to Magee

I hope you are right, but Bute has so far been happy to fight easy face-first clubfighters in front of 10K adoring fans in Montreal. It's by no means certain that Bute feels like stepping up his opposition.

We'll see.

Kessler should ideally take a tune up fight but at the same time, each of his fights could be his last, because of his eyes.
