Kessler planning to fight Bute In Oct/Nov clash

Unless his eye injury starts to trouble again, then Kessler will return to the ring in june for a fight in Denmark, before he in October or November are going to fight Lucien Bute.
In a week the dane will be in Montreal, when Bute are facing Brian Magee. They are hoping to come to an agreement for a fight in October.
- I’m flying to Canada with my promotor Kalle Saurland to see Bute in a fight, my plan is to box in june and it would be great if we could make something happend with Bute, says Mikkel Kessler.
Promoter Kalle Sauerland is optimistic
- Bute want to meet Kessler, and Kessler want to meet Bute. They have invited us to Canada to talk about it, so it’s looking real good, says Kalle Sauerland.
There have been some disagreement in the past about who’ll the rights to fight the winner of the Super Six but a fight between Kessler and Bute would settle that and the looser of the fight could meet the looser of the Super Six final.
- I’m the WBC Champion Emeritus, and I want to prove myself against the best. Bute is a big name, and it would be a big fight not just for the fans in Denmark and Canada – but in the whole world. I’m looking forward to see him fight the 19th of marts, says Kessler
Saurland have several possible opponents for the fight in june, but right now are the energy used to make the Bute-fight happened.

i agree, Magee v Kessler in Denmark would do instead after that happens. See if he can do better than Mads :-)

You know what. If Magee pulls off the upset, Kessler vs. Magee would be quite big. People havent forgotten how exiting Magee was against Larsen and how he quite effortlessly destroyed Kessler's longtime danish rival.

would love him to win, have to respect Magee for turning down a Sartisan fight to go for Bute, he coulda tried to get an easier way to a world title but he said on the news the other day he wants to be the #1 SMW, not a strap holder. Fair play.

Bute being rated so highy annoys me concidering the opposition he's faced compared to the S6 so if Magee wins it'll be doubly sweet. Its a long shot, but Im hopefull. Not optimstic though! I havent heard but Im guessing Bute has a rematch clause if Magee can somehow pull a win out of the bag, so a Kessler fight might have to wait.

Why is Ward a dirty fighter??Because he uses tactic's his opponent can do nothing about??Because he is stronger then his opponent??Ward is a fighter plain and simple,when ya fight him ya know what to watch out for so game plan for it..Froch will be ready for anything Ward brings,Bute would get beat by Dirrell imo..I like Bute but I'm not sold on him with the comp he has been fighting the past few yrs..I would have to see him fight some better comp before I give my true opinion but for now I'm not sold..Bute should fight Bika..
