not optimistic, we've been making some terrible mistakes in rugby for the last 2 years since we won the grand slam. Wales play nice rugby though so it should be easy on the eyes whatever the result. I reckon there will only be about 3 points in it either way

I reckon England will win it. They're the polar opposite of the Football team and always seem to achieve peak performance in big tournaments.

And Andy Gomarsall was about 1,000-years-old practically and still was key in getting a poor-ish England side to a final. This time they have good half-backs and wingers, looks good.

u beat me too it, the all blacks will beat themselves. Its world cup year. They are the best team in the world for 3 years then screw it up. Although they are the host nation and they won it there in 87 so u never know.

England have a good shout to win it, but only if someone else beats the all blacks (like France or south africa). I just cannot see how England can beat them if they face each other.

i only looked at irelands group, never looked at anything else. Ireland have the yanks as their first game :-)

they are not a bad team as it goes, but you will win comfortably

USA are not too far off the level of an italy these days imo

they'll be ok for the first half, but then we'll take over. Hopefully.

But then again Ireland only beat Georgia by 4 points in the last world cup. And we were playing in Dublin! We have been ****ing awful in world cups. Them Argies have done us a couple of times now!

england were **** in the group stages last time.

Sc****d past usa, got demolished by south africa, then needed the islanders to gas out to get through them

Then we beat australia and france on the bounce and gave a decent go of it against the saffas in the final.
