That's what I'm hoping, its still early, but this could be the fight to show if there's something there.

Mayorga needs to blast Cotto with uppercuts because he is still a sucker for that punch. His stance didn't improve in the Foreman fight like Steward claims it needs to. He looked like the same fighter to me in that fight. If Mayorga doesn't land that punch like he should, I don't see him beating Cotto even if it goes the distance unless he pressures Cotto so much that Cotto gives in and gasses. And yeah, if Cotto can't win this fight then it will prove the people right on here including myself that's claimed he's overrated as fuck. Even more so than previously thought because Mayorga is a stepping stone.

Cotto not only needs to beat Mayorga. But he needs to do it in impressive fashion like De La Hoya did or it will make it look like Floyd fought the right guy.

I hope thats the case. Let's see if the old dog can, indeed, learn new tricks.

My good sir, how can a fighter with such a great list of opponents and beating some of the elites he fought, be called overrated? There's a good chance he loses, there's always a chance of losing in the sport, but if that's the case it has less to do with Cotto being overated and more to do with the fact that Mayorga has a better night thatn expected.

He is a PR hater and deserves no real attention.

Mayorga can't take a good body shot.

If Cotto goes there early and often this ends in 6.

I'll be conservative and say Cotto by TKO in 8.

I bet Forrest against him, so What do I know???
