On March 29, the annual Toronto amateur boxing gathering will take place. The Shaw Festival will be held once again at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto. In the main bout of the evening, the Brazilian Rogerio Pereira (16-1-0) will defend his title NABA super welterweight champion against the two-time Olympian Adam Trupish (8-0-0). Pereira, a former WBC and WBO Latino champion, seized the NABA title last September 10 in Kansas City under a win by majority decision at the expense of Carson Jones.
