Mayorga is bigger, stronger, possibly faster, has good power, and will shoot that right hand from any angle, except straight. Just can't get past the fact that Cotto's technique is so much better than his, had Steward drawing up the gameplan, and his solid timing, body work, and accuracy will be used.

Mayorga might surprise us and Torres him, but like Torres, I don't think he'd be able to finish the job even if he did hurt him. I see Mayorga eventually catching a beatdown, no matter what happens early, but it wouldn't be the first time, things didn't go according to plans.

For real I put down $150 not $1500 and not my college money. Damn I am rarely wrong. I think mayorga seriously scared some of you cotto stans, he put up a hell of a ****ing fight. The ref stoppage was disgusting, mayorga was in the middle of a taunt and he stopped it? RJJ used to do that the whole fight and they never stopped him. The ref was out to mess with mayorga.
