I accepted our bet, but had to set a minimum afterward. I'm not trying to spend my entire day paying out bets, .

dzin is not going to get KO'd...good chance he'll beat Sergio, this is a tough fight for Sergio. Did you know Dzin got paid 850k for this match? HBO knows what they're getting with Dzin, the best jab in the business and this will truly be a great test for Martinez. The fact he even took the match tells me he has balls. Look at his recent opposition, Martinez has no soft fights, literally.

850k, That's a crazy amount of money for a guy with no previous exposure and a non tv friendly style. HBO wouldn't just waste money, Dzin's jab is something I've never seen and I've been watching the sport about 13 years

                I respectfully disagree.

Not only is Martinez the bigger, stronger, and faster fighter, but he is also all around better in terms of skill. He's going to make Dzinzurik uncomfortable and hesitant throwing his jab by catching it and countering with his own jab.

After that, Martinez is just not going to respect Dzinzurik's power or anything else he has to offer, which will put Sergei in the line of fire whenever Sergio feels he wants to get his offense going.

Sergio likes to box, but he wants to be the best and has figured out that to be the best, he has to impress and a one sided 12 round decision, just won't get it done. I'd be very surprised if this goes the distance. The Sergio bandwagon is going to get even bigger after this fight.

Dzin is going to beat Martinez to the jab. Dzin fights defensive, he isn't getting countered like that. He comes in fast with his cross and then right back to his guard.

should be an interesting fight. I think Sergio's primed for an upset with this match, mainly because his only notable win really is Williams; I've always thought Jumptron was a mental midget and Pavlik was an alcoholic.

A jab is not going to beat Martinez, Sergio has too many options to avoid it. His timing, speed, and skills will practically neutralize Dzinzurik's jab. He's going to continuously slip, step out of range, and catch & counter Dzinzurik's jab. He'll get hit by a few jabs here and there, but it's to be expected, especially after he begins to get aggressive when he figures out that Sergei can't hurt him.

I don't think Sergei's defense will be much of a problem to get through for Martinez, it's not an impenetrable guard (like Winky and Clottey).

Hopefully you can start giving Martinez a little more credit, instead of just writing off and discrediting the level of Martinez' opposition.
